What is Pheochromocytomas?

A

rare tumor found on the adrenal gland

excessive secretion of catecholamines, resulting in life-threatening high blood pressureand tachycardia.

Catecholamine hormoes include, norepinephrine and epinephrine

*If diagnosed early, tumor can be surgically removed.
