Kellogg-Briand Pact
A disarmament movement where countries reduce their
armaments and military size as a way to maintain world peace

A continuing increase in prices, or the rate at which prices

Gave short term loans to Germany to help make reparation
payments; contributed to rise of Nazi Party with market crash

A series of government programs passed by the US
government in an attempt to end the Great Depression; deemed

The attempt of the Russian government to take control of all

A campaign (1936-38) led by Stalin to eliminate all political
opponents

A one party political system that controls all aspects of a
nation; likes capitalism

Italian leader who established the system of fascism and ruled
Italy from 1925-43
National Socialist Party (Nazis)
German political party that gave rise to Hitler and supported
the racial superiority of the Aryan race
Adolf Hitler
Leader of the Nazi Party 1921-45; credited for the outbreak of
WWII by invading Poland in 1939
