  • Glenohumeral (head of humerus + depression in scapula)
  • Sternoclavicular (medial ends of clavicle and manubrium (handle shaped projection) of the sternum)
  • Acromioclavicular (top of shoulder, junction between the acromion process and the clavicle)

  • Superior/Proximal joint: (elbow) head of radius + radial notch on the ulna, located inside the elbow joint capsule
  • Inferior/Distal Joint: distal end of the radius pivots around the head of the ulna
