The LEED Green Building Rating System represents USGBC’s effort to provide a national benchmark for green buildings. Through its use as a design guideline and third party certification tool, the LEED Green Building Rating System aims to improve occupant well-being, environmental performance and economic returns using established and innovative practices, standards and technologies.
