Amount –> Non-countable for measurement

(I can count the number of hairs but not the amount of hair.)

Already –> Adverb to describe something that happened previously
All Ready –> When everything or everyone is prepared

Fewer –> Describing something uncountable
Less –> For things that can be counted
(I have fewer hairs on my head. You have less hair on your head.)

You’re –> “you are”
Your –> Possession or belonging to you

Too –> Adverb that can mean excessively or also
To –> Preposition meaning toward and until
Two –> Number
Between vs. Among
Between –> one-to-one relationships (two or more distinct items or individuals)
Among –> indistinct or nonspecific relationships (groups)
Awhile vs. A while
Awhile –> Adverb to modify a verb to show something has taken time
A While –> Noun meaning a period of time
(He practiced awhile. I hadn’t seen him in a while.)
Lay vs. Lie
Lay –> To put something down (laid, Laying
Lie –> To recline or rest (lay, lain or laid, lying or laying)
Lie –> To say something untrue (lied, lying)
