What does Rei represent?
The Holy Spirit, Mystery, Gift, Nature Spirit or Invisible Spirit.
What does Ki represent?
The Physical Energy of Nature, Talent or Feelings.
What is Reiki?
-A specific healing support system, divided into 3 Levels.
-It is passed along from Reiki Master to student.
Who discovered Reiki?
Dr.Mikao Usui
What happened on the Mountain, when Dr Usui went to seek understanding about healing?
-He meditated or 21 days.
-On the 21st day, he was shown bubbles of all colors, with ancient Sanskrit symbols. There was total understanding of how to use them for Reiki.
What miracles happened on his way down the mountain?
-He fully healed his toe.
-He was served a full meal and didn’t get ill.
-He healed the daughter’s tooth, of the home where he received food.
-He healed his monk/mentor/abbott, who was bedridden from chronic arthritis.
What did he to do heal people after the miracles?
-Went to Tokyo, for 7 years, and worked in the beggars section. Providing healing to poor and sick. Sending them to others, to try and elevate them out of poverty
-After 7 years, he noticed people returning to be healed again.
-He realized he had focused on physical matters and not neglected the spiritual. He had not taught gratitude.
-He then decided to charge for the healing. He traveled to the country sides and lit a torch and let people come to him.
What are the 5 Reiki Principles?
-Just for today: I will give thanks for my many blessings.
-Just for today: I will not worry.
This is the key to releasing fear and trust the Universe.
-Just for today: I will not be angry.
-Just for today: I will do my work honestly.
-Just for today: I will be kind to my neighbor and every living thing.
What are the 5 Reiki Principles?
-Just for today: I will give thanks for my many blessings.
-Just for today: I will not worry.
This is the key to releasing fear and trust the Universe.

-Just for today: I will do my work honestly.
-Just for today: I will be kind to my neighbor and every living thing.
Why is Just for Today Important?
-Applicable to all 5 Principles
-How you live today determines where or not you will complete the necessary leaning.
-Today is a collection of moments.
-This teaches us to fully live each and every moment and this whole day.
What is Level 1?
-Called Shoden in Japan
-Taught by a Reiki Master
-Uses a set of 4 attunements
-Taught hand positions, Reiki Principles, and the History.
-Once you have received the attunements, you are a Reiki Practitioner.
What is Level 2?
-Called Okuden in Japan
-Included 3 symbols; Focus, Harmony, and Connection
-Mental/Emotional Healing
-Distant Healing
-Symbols use and meanings
-Receive 1 attunement
What is Level 3 (Master Level)?
-Called Shinpiden in Japan
-The Usui Master symbol’s meaning and application are taught.
-Masters are taught how to initiate others into Reiki.
How many days should you practice daily, after receiving any Level Attunements and why?
-21 Days
-Starts Self Healing
-Gets Energy Flowing
How many main Chakras?
What is their function?

What happens when a Chakra becomes blocked?
-Imbalance occurs
-If the imbalance is not cleared, illness and disease can manifest.
