Q

how does valse etude reflect the style of a waltz?

A

A Waltz is a piece of music written in triple time commonly ¾. mm-BAP-BAP rhythm.
In a waltz, feet remain in contact with the floor at all times. This creates a smooth gliding look – hence the long slurs in this piece.
Generally, a low bass note is played for the first beat, and the other two beats fill out the chord a little higher on the piano.

Dance Music.
