What does it mean by continuous and discontinuous?

A

Continuous: values can be within a range and controlled by both genes and the environment (height and weight)
Discontinuous: categories. This is controlled by genetic variation by instructions in cells (shoe size and gender)

What does the evolution theory mean?

A

Of natural selection- species produce large numbers of offspring than environment can support, leads to competing for food and space. Individuals who are well adapted to environment are more likely to survive. Less adapted more likely to die out.
