Q

ACE is also a kininase, so when you block it, you see increased bradykinin, which is a vasodilator and is thought to be what causes cough in people.

Diabetes insipidus, control of bleeding in Hemophilia A and classic vWF disease, also bedwetting
34
Desmopressin (DDAVP) MOA
Increases(cAMP) in renal tubular cells which leads to decreased urine volume and increased urine osmolality; increases plasma levels of vWF, factor VIII, and t-PA
35
Desmopressin (DDAVP) Drug Action/Pd
reduces urine volume and increase concentration.

Desmopressin (DDAVP) Route of Admin
Intranasal or IV
37
Desmopressin (DDAVP) Adverse Effects
Desmopressin +excessive fluid consumption =hyponatremia, which can lead to seizures, brain swelling, coma, and death
