What is crown land?
Land owned by the federal and provincial government of canada
What is foreign ownership
Ownership of a country resources and businesses by people who are not citizens of the country
What is traditional territory
The land that indigenous people house occupied and used for thousands of years
Benefits of foregin ownership
Boosts economy, can invest money pay tax and provide jobs, bring in new tech that can benefit whole country

-usualy takes products and profit out of country
-citizens can suffer when land is taken over

The transition can be difficult and violent, former colonies can be left with a weak economy, social and political problems

Developing countries, and debt can be caused by major disasters, corruption, high intrest rates

Non governmental organization, not part of gov, group of ppl who work together, raise money to solve problem, problem relates to inequalities
Whats Non-profit
Dont raise money for people working for the NGO to get rich but to pay themselves a resonable salary and to use the rest of the money to solve the problem
