Victims
For the purposes of all parts of the act victims includes three different groups of people who are effected by an offence.
A
- First the person who are directly affected. The person against whom the offence is committed. Or suffers physical harm or property loss or damage.
- Secondly the parent or guardian of the person directly affected where the victim is under 17 years.
- Thirdly, members of a person’s immediate family of the deceased.
