2005
was great for Burgundy, Sauternes and Bordeaux
2007
was no good for most, except great in Port, don’t you know
2009
was no good for most, except great in Port, don’t you know
2010
just as good, including Chablis and Barolo now but bad in Champagne as we will see
2011
panned in France, but good in Spain and exceptional for Port
2013
also bad all around, apart from Barolo, wines highly sought
2015
not a bad word said
Better on left bank, and white Burgundy not as good as red
2016
again an all rounder
But now white Burgundy definitely on a downer
2017
pretty bad, apart from Port and the still Chardonnays
2018
back on top, especially Champagne, bubbles for days
2019
also widely hailed
More on right bank this time, but perhaps Rioja should bail
2020
another great one, especially for Champagne and French reds
2021
now bad for most of France, apart from white Bordeaux, and a turn for Rioja and Barolo instead
2022
maybe soon to tell
But again most of France (except Rhone and white Bordeaux) doing well
