Why is Macbeth seen to be a ”hero”
he is seen to be a hero because of his violent nature on the battlefield, his violence is FOR the king
What does Macbeth do on the battlefield
Kills traitor macdonld and he is praised and rewarded for this violence ( unseamed him from the nave to his chaps)
How could you analyse “unseamed him from his nave to his chaps”
Shows his courage and strength, but also unphased /desentized to killing another man as it’s a horrible way to do it
What is ironic about macbeths head being displayed
He killed and displayed macdonlds (traitors ) head, and soon after became a traitor himself
Why did siward say his son “parted well”
Because it was brave and honourable to die in a violent bloody battle
Why is macbeths killing of Duncan so evil
He kills him in his sleep, not giving him a fair fight
How does lady Macbeth use violent imagery
Said she would “dash the brains out” of her own baby if she had promised to do so
What suggests Macbeth is maybe ashamed off the violent act he himself commited
He sends murdered for him
What else could Macbeth sending murderers show
He has little care for human life, the victims don’t deserve his time and attention
What does Macbeth say after seeing Banquo ghost that says one violence is commited, violence will follow

What does the world mother make the reader feeling in the quote “he has killed me mother”
A reminder that Macbeth is murdering a child, who is in concert , showing how evil he has become

Highlights his increasing tyrannical and truthless nature
