Symptoms -
*Watering
*Redness
*discomfort
*Pain- itchy burning sensation
*Recent upper respiratory tract infection
*Recent contact with infected person
*Occurs in one eye first then can proceed to other eye within 1-2 days
Signs-
*Follicles
*Conjunctival hyperaemia
*Preauricular lymph nodes- tender nodes
*Watery/mucus discharge- pseudomembrane
*Red and swollen eyelids
*Pinpoint subconjunctival haemorrhage
