What is Oidium Tuckerii?
Powdery Mildew (Uncinula Necator), caused by dry, windy weather with diurnal variation. Leaves get white dust, spreads to grapes = turn dull, dusty grey. Leaves turn crisp, dry and fall off.
Chardonnay more prone than Pinot Noir.

Fanleaf virus - spreads easy vine to vine. no cure

A magnesium deficiency, creates big veins of colour + leaf turns red

Black Measles, affect vines pruned on spur system (cordon royat) Fungi infect wood, develops black spots.
Poor pruning decisions leaving wounds in wood. Vine dies within a week.

Reasoned Combat, Is a form of synthetic treatment may be used but within reason of risk of disease.
