Facetious

A

If someone is being facetious they’re being playful with an edge.

EXAMPLE: A knock-knock joke isn’t facetious, but if you call it the most advanced form of comedy, you’re probably being facetious; cleverly amusing in tone; being funny. I am looked upon as highly facetious at night, for I crack jokes with everybody near me until we fall asleep.

A

A fallacy is a misleading argument or belief based on a falsehood; illogical reasoning

EXAMPLE: His entire argument was based on a fallacy; he couldn’t support the claim because it was flawed and simply could not be substantiated with the text.
