Museum
Museum-a building in which objects of historical, scientific, artistic, or cultural interest are stored
and exhibited.
Heritage
Heritage- The shared history of a group or community, including its tradition, customs and values
Cultural Heritedge
Cultural heritageis the legacy of tangible and intangible heritage assets of a group or society that is
inherited from past generations.
Archaeology
Archaeology-the study of human history and prehistory through the excavation of sites and the
analysis of artefacts and other physical remains.
Culture
Culture-The shared values, customs, culture and tradition of people
Research
RESEARCH- The systematic investigation into and study of materials and sources in order to
establish facts and reach new conclusions.
Theme
THEME - - The subject of a talk, piece of writing, exhibition, etc.; a topic.
Exhibit
EXHIBIT- An object or collection of objects on public display in an art gallery or museum or at a
trade fair.

SOURCES- A place, person, or thing from which something originates or can be obtained.

MULTICUTURALISM- The presence of, or support for the presence of several distinct cultural or
ethnic groups within a society
Diversity
DIVERSITY- The state of being diverse; variety.
DIVERSITY- Containing a mix: engaging people from different backgrounds
Population
POPULATION- The total of individuals occupying an area or making up a whole.
Identity
IDENTITY- The fact of being who or what a person or thing is.
DEMOGRAPHICS
DEMOGRAPHICS- statistical data relating to the population and particular groups within it.
PERSPECTIVE
PERSPECTIVE- a particular attitude towards or way of regarding something; a point of view.
MULTIPLE PERSPECTIVE
MULTIPLE PERSPECTIVE- acknowledging that there are numerous ways of looking at something and
that a variety of different standpoints can be helpful.
SNAP JUDGEMENT
SNAP JUDGEMENT- A hasty decision or opinion, usually made in the moment.
POLICY
POLICY: A course or principle of action adopted or proposed by an organization or individual.
ENRICHED CULTURE-
ENRICHED CULTURE- A culture that is vibrant, innovative and evolving, and interacting with other
cultures
TOLERANCE
TOLERANCE- The quality of accepting people and their behaviour and opinions even if you are not
in agreement with them
PREJUDICE
Prejudice -Preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience
SYMPATHIES
Sympathies- Feelings of pity and sorrow for someone else’s misfortune.
RACISM
Racism- prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism by an individual, community, or
institution against a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular
racial or ethnic group, typically one that is a minority or marginalized.
ANTI-RACISM
Anti-Racism- The policy or practice of opposing racism and promoting racial
tolerance.
