Daunt
To make someone someone feel frightened or discouraged.
Example: Gregory says that math daunts him, but he is actually very good at math.
Commodity
A product that is bought and sold; 2 something useful or valued
example: time is a precious commodity.
Dire
Dreadful or urgent.
Example: after falling into the pool, James was in dire need of a change of cloths.
Displaced
1, lacking a home, could try, etc.; 2. Forced to remove people or animals from there usual or proper place.
Example: the flood displaced hundreds of people when it destroyed the towns sewer system.
Haven
A harbor , a safe place protected from danger or trouble.
Example: the wildlife preservation center is shaven for. Many endangered animals.
Humanitarian
To do with helping people and relieving suffering
Example: a humanitarian group that donates and delivers medical supplies to those in need has been silent into a war zone
Nongovernmental orginizations
A group not associated with those that govern a country
