Albinism
a recessive trait leading to a lack of melanin production. A person with this trait has white skin and hair and lacks pigment in the iris of the eye.

an eye infection caused by chlamydia trachomatis that causes follicles to develop on the inner surface of the eyelids. It occurs in situations in which there is not adequate water to wash the face and eyes or flies carry the organism to the eyes.

receptors that are located internally and provide information about the environment around the viscera.
Visual acuity
this is measured by the snellen chart or similar eye charts, consisting of lines of progressively smaller letters and numbers.
