is an anabolic reaction exergonic or endergonic?
endergonic
is a catabolic reaction exergonic or endergonic?
exergonic
how are exergonic and endergonic reactions linked?
In order for an endergonic reactions to occur, an exergonic one has to occur first. Since endergonic reactions require more energy than they release, they need to find that energy somewhere. Since exergonic reactions release more energy than the require, after an exergonic reactions occurs, the energy released can be used for an endergonic reactions.
True or False:
anabolic reactions are related to exergonic reactions
false; they are linked to endergonic reactions
True or False:
anabolic reactions and synthesis are basically the same thing
