Observation

Variable
anything that can change or be changed within an experiment.
Precision
how close measurements of the same item are to each other.
Accuracy
how close a measurement is to the true or accepted value.
Prediction

Independent Variable
the variable you manipulate or vary in an experimental study to explore its effects.
Dependent Variable
the variable that changes as a result of the independent variable manipulation.
