Indigenous Food
Originating in and characteristic of a particular region or country. There are specific foods that are native to the aboriginal culture.
Rations
A fixed allowance of the amount of food one can consume, especially during a shortage

A disease caused by a deficiency of vitamin C, characterized by swollen bleeding gums and the opening of previously healed wounds
Food Habits
The decision of an individual or group of people choosing what foods they are going to consume.
Multicultural
Different foods coming for different cultures brought together to share with people from different countries.
Cuisine
A style or method of cooking, from a particular country, region, or establishment.
Values
The regard that something is held to deserve; the importance, worth, or usefulness of something.
Attitudes
A settled way of thinking or feeling about something.
Emotions
A strong feeling about one’s circumstances, mood, or relationships with others.
Beliefs
An acceptance that something exists or is true.
Media
the main means of mass communication (television, phones, radio and newspapers).
Staple foods
A staple food is a food that is eaten routinely and in such quantities that it constitutes a dominant portion of an individual’s standard diet.
Hunter
a person or animal that goes after its prey.
Gatherer
A member of a culture in which food is obtained by hunting, fishing, and foraging rather than by agriculture or animal husbandry.
Export
Send (goods or services) to another country for sale.
Import
Bring (goods or services) into a country from abroad for sale.
Migration
Seasonal movement of animals from one region to another.
