Bile
digestive made in the liver and stored in the gallbladder. Bile helps with fat digestion and absorption in the intestinal tract.

substances produced by our bodies that help us digest foods we eat.
Help break down food components (proteins, carbohydrates and fats)
Allows nutrients from foods to be absorbed into our bloodstreams so that they can support the functioning of all cells

process that involves breaking down food and drinks into small molecules that can be transported and used by the cells of the body

Mastication
(chewing)
up-and-down and side-to-side movements of the lower jaw that assist in reducing particles of solid food, making them more easily swallowed
