Q

Why was Force feeding bad

A

Suffragettes would protest in jail by not eating the food and putting their life in danger. If someone died in jail the government would be in trouble. Force feeding was very dangerous a tube was inserted in the nose through to the throat and liquid food was pumped through. It could be fatal if food went into lungs
