What are the AMPS and Volts of the Battery
24 Volt / 40 Amp hour battery
What are the required document in the aircraft?
- COA (Certificate of Airworthyness)
- Registration Certificate
- POH or AFM
4.Weigh and Balance Data - Radio Station Licience
- Emergency Equipment Documentation
- Maintenance Log or MR
- Any supplements for the aircraft
- Insurance Certificate
What type of Masks do we have onboard?
Diluted Demand Masks for Crew
Continuous Flow for Passengers
How do you test the masks?
Squeeze the two Red tabs and listen for the oxygen coming out.
What controls does the control lock actuate?
- Throttles (locks throttles in cut off)
- Ailerons (neutral position)
- Rudder (neutral position)
- Elevators (neutral position)
What is the RAT prob on the Aircraft?
RAM Air Temperature Prob used for measuring outside air temperature.
Can you despatch the aircraft with a Rotating Beacon INOP?
Yes as long as the aircraft MEL permits it. You may have restrictions like using your strobes etc for entire flight.
What are the Wheel chines for?
Deflecting water, slush and debris away from the engines to prevent FOD
What is the Maximum tyre speed?
165 kts
What is the Green Oxygen Plug and what is it used for?
It’s a witness disc, if it is in place all is ok. If it is missing it’s a sign of overpressurisatin of the the Oxygen system.
What is the Generator NACA vent used for?
Used to cool the generators by directing outside air into the generator compartments.
Where are the wing anti ice cooling vents?
Located on the lower surface of each wing typically near the trailing edge close to the wing root.
It’s where the heated air from the leading edge exits the aircraft to maintain a controlled temperature.
Where are the wing fuel vents ?
Located on the underside of each wingtip, typically near the aft section.
Where are the hydraulic drains ?
In the Tailcone area.
Where is the Windshield Heat Exhaust?
Located near the base of the windshield.
