Refraction is bending of light as it passes through a transparent material causing it to change direction due to a change in speed as it enters a new medium.

A wave where the vibrations of particles move at a right angle.

Explain one difference bewteen longitudinal waves and transverse waves
A
Transverse waves the vibrations of the particles move at right angles and longitudinal waves the vibrations of particles move the same way as the wave is going.
