What is Weather?
Short-term changes in the atmosphere

Air that is less dense. Molecules are farther apart.
Coriolis Effect
The rotation of the Earth causes the wind to appear to curve.
Circulation
Water and air moving in a circular pattern.
Salinity
The amount of salt in something.
Climate zones
Areas with distinct climates that can be defined by weather patterns, latitude, or plant and animals communities.
Precipitation
Part of the water cycle when water falls to the Earth as hail, sleet, rain, or snow.
Altitude
The height of an object is above sea level.
Latitude
The horizontal lines on a map or a globe. It measures the amount north or south from the equator a location is.
