Deus, vitam meam annuntiávi tibi: * posuísti lácrimas meas in conspéctu tuo.
God, my life i have declared to you (annunciation)…you have posited my tears in your sight
Sicut et in promissióne tua: * tunc converténtur inimíci mei retrórsum:

In Deo laudábo verbum, in Dómino laudábo sermónem: * in Deo sperávi, non timébo quid fáciat mihi homo.
In God, I praise the word….in the Lord I praise his speech (word)…in God I hope, I’m not afraid what he can to to me, man.
In me sunt, Deus, vota tua, * quæ reddam, laudatiónes tibi.
In me are, God, vow (vote) to you…which I render…praises to you.
Quóniam eripuísti ánimam meam de morte, et pedes meos de lapsu: * ut pláceam coram Deo in lúmine vivéntium.
Because you ripped my soul from death, and my feet from lapsing…that I may placate the heart of God in the light of the living
wow! saved from death, now must console the heart of God
Miserére mei, Deus, miserére mei: * quóniam in te confídit ánima mea.
have marcy on me, God, have mercy, because in you trust my soul
Et in umbra alárum tuárum sperábo, * donec tránseat iníquitas.
