What is Ellis’ perspective on religions?
That religion is irrational and damaging to our mental health.
Concept of sin evokes great amounts of shame and guilt.

How does religion correlate with prosocial behaviour?
- people who are more religious tend to perform more prosocial behaviour.
- though religion has seen to be associated with antisocial behaviour and aggression when groups are faced with outgroups (e.g. Christians and abortion)
