  1. vertebral
    a. first branch of the subclavian
    b. pass through the foramen magnum
    c. unite at caudal border of pons to form basilar
    artery
    d. basilar artery gives off cerebellar arteries and then
    divides into two posterior cerebral arteries
  2. Internal carotid
    a. terminal branches of the common carotids
    b. enter cranial cavity though carotid canal in
    temporal bone

Posterior communicating arteries (Connect the posterior cerebral arteries to the internal carotids)
