Food System definition:

the measure of usefulness of a given thing

Measuring the price of a given thing

Explain the M-C-M circuit
Money-Commodity-Money
Investing in something that will then be sold at a higher cost where profits will then return to investment
What is one of the biggest way Capitalism is able to survive?
It’s a system that will only pay you less than what your labor produces. M-C-M. It needs the excess profit in order to re-invest and start the cycle again.
What is labor power?
The capacity of humans to work and produce value
What is racial Capitalism?
Recognizing that the origin of Capitalism relied on the differences between those who held the means of production and those whose labor was exploited, therefore recognizing racial hierarchies as a fundamental structure to Capitalism.
