  • Trafficking drugs to famous Us athletes
  • Got arrested trying to crossing boarder because he was in position of hard drugs

what happened in the court:
- took a plea deal to name the list of athletes he was supplying to to have a less sentence

Sentence:
-20 years in jail

Outcome:

  • took plea deal exposed tiger woods
  • Penalty was 1 year probation: didn’t go to jail but was not allowed to enter US

BAF Year: 2001/2002 What happened: - British middle distance runner vs British athletic federation - Caught for elevated levels of testosterone - suspended what happened in the court: - argued there was something in test that was wrong - test samples sat in airport for 4 days - when it was stored at high temp at testing centre and grew bacteria Sentence: -None Outcome: - got off suspension - sued for a civil suit for being wrongfully convicted and a waste of her time

Athletics Limited Year: 2006 What happened: - Female British runner - challenged privacy grounds (they violated her rights) - she failed the "where about rule" 3 times what happened in the court: - she argued that its not fair cause she can say where she's gonna be at all times - shows that she's been tested multiple times and has been clean Sentence: -none Outcome: -counted as a failed test

- Spanish long distance swimmer - David was suspended for 4 years for test positive for PED - he argued that is suspension is cruel and harsh cause it conflicts with his "work" - said it want against the EU competition law in place to protect capitalism to ensure he is safe at work - did not win fight he felt like hw was fired from his job
