  4. Interferon: Additive antiviral effects
    Probenecid: Increased acyclovir levels due to decreasing renal clearance
    Zidovudine: risk neurotoxicity
  5. take with probenecid to prevent nephrotoxicity
    kills good and infected cells causing the patient to be immunosuppressed
