Sum
The mathematical expression whose primary or only operation is addition
Difference

Factor
a whole number that can be multiplied by another whole number to result in in a given number

Prime Factorization
A mathematical expression that expresses a given number as a product of prime numbers.
Expanded form
A mathematical expression that expresses a give number as a sum or multiples of powers of ten (10)
Factored Form
A mathematical expression that expresses a given number as a product of whole number (and possibly -1)
Divisibility rule for 10
the ones digit of a given number is 0
Divisibility rule for 5
the ones digit of a given number is 0 or 5
Divisibility rule for 2
the ones digit of a number is 0,2,4,6,8
Divisibility rule for 3
the sum of a given number’s digits is a multiple of 3
Divisibility rule for 9

Mulitiple
A Number that can be achieved by multiplying a given whole number by some other whole number
Common Factor
a number that is a factor of every given numbers
Least Common multiple
a number that is a multiple of every given number
The LCM of two numbers is always equal to
the PRODUCT of their GFC and the leftovers
Greatest Common factor
the largest number that is a common factor of all given numbers
Common Multiple
A number that is a multiple of every given number
Relatively prime
A characteristic of two number being that they have no common factors besides 1
Polynomial
an algebraic expression made up of one or more terms
Monomial
An algebraic expression made up of exactly one term
Binomial
An algebraic expression made up of exactly two terms
