The act of killing another human being. Lawful or unlawful

Causing death by killing or intent to cause grievous bodily harm

Fully responsible
Full intent
What is manslaughter?
Voluntary - suicide pact, diminished responsibility and provocation
Involuntary- recklessness, negligence or accident
Some responsibility with absence of intent
What is infanticide?
Killing of baby under 12 months
Often by biological mother
Often presence of mental illness
Charged with voluntary manslaughter

Male on male.
Confrontational - impulsive, immediate, act of rage
Revenge - planned, Perceived wrong doing, history of conflict

Confrontational - some cultures favour violence to challenge behaviour

Proximal precipitation - argument, confrontation, under influence of drugs or alcohol maybe
