Why was there a controversy with Mexico after we annexed Texas
They took it as an act of aggression and even though Texas was independent it still wanted to get it back and with the United States helping Texas it would become much more difficult

A war between (1846 and 1848) this war was caused by us the USA annexing Texas making it a part of the union they thought this was an act of aggression and wanted war after this frustration
