Describe the clinical presentation of whiplash

A

Motor Dysfunction:

  • Reduced ROM
  • Altered muscle recruitment patterns
  • Mechanical cervical instability

Sensorimotor Dysfunction:

  • Loss of balance
  • Disturbed eye movement control

Sensory dysfunction:
- Hypersensitivity

Other Symptoms:

  • Tinnitus
  • Malaise
  • Dizziness
