Convection current
The flow of air and gas through the atmosphere hot and cold . It moves ina circular path
Land breeze
A breeze flowing towards the sea especially at night. The warm air rises above the sea and the cold air moves toward the sea.
Sea breeze
A breeze that is flowing towards the land . It goes from the ocean to the land.warm air rises above the land and the cold air moves in to replace it.
Jet stream
A huge band of winds moving at fast speeds
Doldrums
A place near the equator where very little winds are
Trade winds
Winds that blow towards the equator. It brings cooler air towards the equator
Prevailing winds
Winds that blow away from the equator
Prevailing westerlies
Winds that blow west to east
Polar easterlies
Winds that blow towards the equator moving e to w
El nino
When the pacific warmed up and weather becomes dry
La nina
When the pacific cools down and weather temp drops and it becomes wetter
Gulf Stream
When a stream of warm water runs up the east coast to the poles
