Agora Is a market place where they trade and shop, and it was the center of the city states. It’s important bc that’s where everyone hanged out.

Philosophy is important to the Greeks because it helped them expand their knowledge.
Who is Aristotle?
Aristotle is a philosopher that tutored Alexander the Great.
What is the Peloponnesian War?
Peloponnesian War is a war between Athens and Sparta and Sparta won and while Sparta was celebrating after the whole Macedonia grew bigger.
What is Oligarchy?
Oligarchy is a government that is controlled by a small group of elite members in society that rule.
In a paragraph write how Greek culture impacts on society today use three examples?
Lots of things in Greek society impacts on society today. One of the things that impact on society is the alphabet. The Greeks developed the alphabet with two words which are alpha and baita which spell alphabet. Today the alphabet impacts society today and people try to learn it and also the English alphabet grew out of the Greek alphabet. Another example is the the rules of English grammar, punctuation, and paragraphing. These rules impact on us today because our rules of English grammars, punctuation, and paragraphing are all based on Greek rules of English grammar, punctuation, and paragraphing. The last example is our Democratic government in the United States. This Democratic government in the United States has roots in Greece. This is how Greek culture impacts on my culture.
