When does game day prep start?
- Starts 48 hours before kick off
- Add onto diet 10-20% extra going into a competition
What should your last meal before game day look like?
- Easy to digest options
- Normal food to the individual

What should your energy top-up during game day look like?
- Easy to digest options
- Stick small e.g. 2 lollies
- Use fluids as energy
- Start supplement routine
What does game day - post match look like?
- 1 hour: starting recovery - fluids/protein
- 3 hours: full meal + fluids
- Checking hydration - hydrated before sleep and check on wake up
- Able to have a cheat meal after they have had proper nutrition for recovery
