He was the assassin if Franz Ferdinand and was a member of Black Hand terrorist organization, wanted independence for the Slavic people from Austria-Hungary

Germany’s plan for first strike, go through neutral Belgium to get to France, then attack Russia
What was the purpose for the Schlieffen Plan
To avoid a two-front war, needs to happen in six weeks, or Russia will mobilize in six weeks
