Schlieffen Plan
Germany planned to move through Belgium and circularly move around Paris to surround a big portion of the French Army

Trench Warfare
Battle fought from behind a trench. Artillery and soldiers were stationed behind the barbed wire. Trenches were dug deeper and deeper. Poison gas was developed. Trench warfare led to a stalemate between Germany and France.
Britain set up a naval block, so Germany retaliated by using submarine warfare to fight back. The Lusitania was a british ship sunk on May 7th, 1915 more than 100 soldiers lost lives. Germans forced to ban this warfare in september of the same year

Friedrich Ebert: New republics were being formed around Germany. Ebert established a new republic in Germany with Socialists after William II abdicated the throne november 9th

He argued that the German Army had not lost, but Jewish Marxxists established a republic to stop germany from winning (sabotage)
Armenian Genocide
Armenians were being killed at an alarming rate (600,000) in 6 months by the Turkish government because Armenians were believed to collaborate with russians and their acts of rebellion
War Casualties: From 8-9 million soldiers died/22 million were left wounded. The birth rate lowered in many European countries because there were less men
