What was the Great Depression?
The Great Depression was the outcome of the stock exchange collapsing. Many people lost everything, there were many unemployed and poor.

What were flappers?
Flappers were groups of young women who would do things that were considered unladylike or bad behaviour. They did things like wear short dresses, smoke, drink in public.
Which countries were fascist?
The axis powers were all fascist this includes Italy, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Romania and Spain, Portugal, Argentina and chile were neutral.
What is capitalism?
An economic system were a country’s trade and industry are controlled by private owners for profit instead of the state.
What is the difference between left wing and right wing?
Left wing supports equal opportunity’s and social equality where as right wing is more fascist and support social hierarchies and social orders.
What is prohibition and what did it do?
Prohibition is the process of banning something by law it this case in America there was a ban on the making, transporting or selling of alcohol.
What is communism?
Communism is a system of government were everyone is considered equal.
What is fascism?
A political system that believes in having the government control all, with not much freedom at all for citizens.
What is democracy?
A political system were people have a say in who is in government, and there is a lot more freedom for citizens
What is socialism?
An economical system that has everyone equal.

The bomb that hit Nagasaki was called fat man and the bomb that hit Hiroshima was called little boy.

It burnt everything in its radius, this still has impact today due to the radiation that hit people who survived.

1st of September 1939 to 2nd of September 1945.
What was the stock exchange?
The stock exchange is a place where stocks are brought and sold.
What was the treaty of Versailles?
The treaty of Versailles was a peace treaty signed between the allies and Germany to end WW1. Germany had many restrictions in there military, economy and territory.
What was the roaring twenties?
The roaring twenties was a time were there was a huge social and political change. There were new dance crazes, movies, motor cars, new technologies and women like flappers were coming about.
What was the League of Nations?
The League of Nations was a group who consisted of member states who would make sure wars were prevented. The whole group would meet once a year, and there was a smaller group who would meet and look after urgent problems.
Who was allied with who?
There were the axis powers and the allies. The axis powers had Germany, Italy and Japan. Britain, France, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, India, the Soviet Union, china and the USA were the allies.
