What are the features of the Xfinity Home app?
• New treatment for suspended account users to advise customers to call us to restore services.
• Cameras: Thumbnails are now stacked and the customer scrolls down to see all their cameras instead of swiping left or right.
• App Demo: Link from pre-login Tour and More.
• Device-Based Navigation: The Automation tab will be organized into three sections: Rules, Scenes and Notifications.
• Android Fingerprint Authorization: Just like in iOS, users can access the mobile app and arm/disarm their security system using their fingerprint.
• Facial Recognition: Similar to fingerprint authorization, users with an iPhone X can utilize iPhone’s facial recognition software to access and arm/disarm the mobile app.
• Contact Integration in Emergency Contacts: Users can update their emergency contacts directly from their mobile device.
o Home Screen Quick Actions: Customers with iOS smart devices will be able to use Apple functionality to quickly execute some Xfinity Home actions:
o Xfinity Home: Set Arm Mode, View Rules and Scenes, Add a Device, View Activity and Chat with an agent.
o Xfinity Internet: Add a Device, View Rules and Scenes and Take the Tour.
o Not Signed In: Sign in, Take the Tour and Learn about Home.
