Why did some people think Cromwell was fair?
He cut out a lot of corruption from England, it became harder to bribe your way out of trouble and just if you were from a rich family didn’t mean you could escape the law.
Why did some people think Cromwell was a good soldier?
He created the New Model Army which is still used today, Cromwell’s 30,000 soldiers made England strong and England was feared and respected by France and Spain.

How did overcrowding start to occur?
As a couple of factories were built, people started to go and live in those towns and cities to get a job. As more people came more houses had to be built. These houses were close together, cheap and was crammed with people.
