An APRN can only prescribe a 72-hour supply of a Schedule II drug except hydrocodone combination products; unless the APRN is nationally certified in psych-mental health, then she can write for a 30-day supply of a psycho-stimulant. Hydrocodone products are limited to a 30 day prescription with no refill. Schedule 3 are limited to 30 days. 4 and 5 shall not exceed 6 months.
