The chief of these enemies are: Kāma (passion or lust), krodha (anger or wrath), lobha (greed), moha (delusion), made (pride) and matsara (jealousy or envy). The eight-fold yoga of Patañjāli shows the royal road (rāja-mārga) for achieving this objective.
