What is the water?
Used in baptism to cleanse people from original sin and it makes them a new follower of Jesus and God

He will rebuild the temple of Jerusalem

He will unite all people
What is repentance?
The belief that you will turn from sin and towards God
Where was Jesus baptised?
In the river jordan
Who baptised him?
John, his cousin
What was the importance of John the baptist?
He announced that Jesus was the messiah, and path the way of his life.
What happened at his baptism?
A dove flew do Jesus as he was being baptised and God spoke, saying
“This is my son whom I love; I am proud of him”
This particular event shows the father, son and holy spirit in one place!

A disciple is a follower of somebody; A learner

What did ‘follow me’ mean to the disciples?

- Be another me in the world
These were the factors that helped them become apostles
What is an apostle?
It means, ‘the one who is set out’
But for us, it is the stage after discipleship, where instead of learning what your teachers says, you preach what he says
What are the 2 types of miracles?
Nature and healing
What is a miracle?
An event that goes against the laws of nature
