Predicate
خبرٌ
The information you learn about the subject
Hamida is pious- pious= خَبَرٌ
Subject
مُبتَدَاٌ
Occurs 1st in the sentence- who the sentence is about
Haamid is pious- haamid= مُبتَدَاٌ
English to Arabic conversion of subject & predicate sentences
- Take out the ‘is’
- Translate the words into Arabic
- Give 2 dammatain to both words in the sentence

P- أُمَّهَاتٌ

Feminine words
When the subject is feminine change the predicate to feminine by adding a ةٌ
When subject has ال in front of it
Change the dammatain on both words to dammah only
