Salah

Question 1

سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ وَتَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ وَتَعَالَى جَدُّكَ وَلاَ إِلَهَ غَيْرُكَ

Answer 1

Purity (from imperfection belongs) to you, my God
And the praise (also belongs to you)
Blessed is Your Name
Your Majesty (Glory and Might) is Exalted there is no diety but You

Question 2

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَۙ(۱) الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِۙ(۲) مٰلِكِ یَوْمِ الدِّیْنِؕ(۳) اِیَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَ اِیَّاكَ نَسْتَعِیْنُؕ(۴) اِهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِیْمَۙ(۵) صِرَاطَ الَّذِیْنَ اَنْعَمْتَ عَلَیْهِمْ ﴰ غَیْرِ الْمَغْضُوْبِ عَلَیْهِمْ وَ لَا الضَّآلِّیْنَ۠(۷)

Answer 2

1. In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
2. All the praises are for Allah, the Sustainer of all the worlds,
3. the Beneficent, the Merciful,
4. Lord of the Day of Judgment.
5. You alone do we worship and You alone do we ask for help
6. Lead us along the straight path,
7. the path of those upon whom You have bestowed Your favours,
   not of those who incurred Your wrath, nor (of those who) went astray!

Question 3

سمع الله لمن حمده

ربنا لك الحمد

Answer 3

Allah hears those who praise Him

Our Lord, praise be to You

Question 4

التَّحِيَّاتُ لِلَّهِ وَالصَّلَوَاتُ وَالطَّيِّبَاتُ، السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ، السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى عِبَادِ اللَّهِ الصَّالِحِينَ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ

Answer 4

All compliments, prayers and beautiful expressions are for God.
Peace be on you, O Messenger, and God’s mercy and blessings.
Peace be on us
and on all righteous servants of God.
I bear witness that no one is worthy of worship except God.
And I bear witness that Muhammad
is His servant and Envoy.

Question 5

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ،

اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَ ا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ

Answer 5

My God, honour Muhammad and Muhammad’s family
as you honoured Abraham and Abraham’s family
Surely, you are praiseworthy, the Great

My God, bless Muhammad and Muhammad’s family
as you bless ed Abraham and Abraham’s family
Surely, you are praiseworthy, the Great

Question 6

اَللَّهُمَّ إنا نَسْتَعِينُكَ وَنَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَنُؤْمِنُ بِكَ وَنَتَوَكَّلُ عَلَيْكَ وَنُثْنِئْ عَلَيْكَ الخَيْرَ وَنَشْكُرُكَ وَلَا نَكْفُرُكَ وَنَخْلَعُ وَنَتْرُكُ مَنْ ئَّفْجُرُكَ اَللَّهُمَّ إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَلَكَ نُصَلِّئ وَنَسْجُدُ وَإِلَيْكَ نَسْعأئ وَنَحْفِدُ وَنَرْجُو رَحْمَتَكَ وَنَخْشآئ عَذَابَكَ إِنَّ عَذَابَكَ بِالكُفَّارِ مُلْحَقٌ

Answer 6

O Allah! We implore You for help and beg forgiveness of You
and believe in You and rely on You and praise You
and we are thankful to You and are not ungrateful to You and we alienate and forsake those who disobey You.
O Allah! You alone do we worship and for You do we pray and prostrate and we betake to please You and present ourselves for the service in Your cause and we hope for Your mercy and fear Your punishment. Undoubtedly, Your torment is going to overtake infidels O Allah!
